Lowell Fulson, who B.B. King revered as a "sleeping giant," released his second Kent album in 1967, which became his masterpiece and a shining masterpiece in the history of blues.

The title track was a big hit, reaching number 5 on the R&B charts in 1966. A cover by Otis Redding and Carla Thomas in 1967 was also a hit, and this "original funk blues" became a big hit for sampling in the 1980s and onwards.

In addition to the 11 tracks from the 1966 "Tramp" sessions, which were originally intended to produce an album, this set includes re-recordings from "Soul" (1966), a masterpiece of slow blues, "Black Nights," in which the heavy sound and immeasurable depth of vocals create an indescribable lyricism. This absolute masterpiece, which unleashes the dynamic groove of black music in the blues, including the title track, the cool and passionate "Two Way Wishing," and the irresistible salty vocals of "Hustler's Game," has been reissued on LP in rare mono (KLMP 5020) format.
