Dragon Ash's summer tune "Summer Tribe" accelerated their mix-rock style.
The album features the title track "Summer Tribe" and includes "EPISODE 2 feat. SHUN, SHIGEO (Skeboking)." It reached number 2 on the Oricon weekly singles chart and 84th on the yearly chart that same year.
Released as Dragon Ash's eighth single, "Summer Tribe -Komorebi Mix-" and a remix of "EPISODE 2 feat. SHUN, SHIGEO" give the same motif a different look by changing the beat and sound image. Although not included on the album itself, this single is positioned as a symbol of the era, bringing to the fore the hip-hop influence that Dragon Ash had at the time.
