This extremely rare live album by Akira Miyazawa (1927-2000), a legendary tenor saxophonist born in the Japanese jazz world, is released on analog for the first time. It features dynamic and creative performances. Recorded in 1989.

Recorded at a live concert held in Hamamatsu in December 1989. The instrument sounds are recorded so clearly that it could be mistaken for a studio recording.

The members are Masahiko Ozu (drums), who debuted with the Miyazawa Band and performed with Ornette Coleman and Sarah Vaughan, and Harumi Takeuchi (piano) and Shunsuke Takeuchi (bass), who have performed live all over the country based in Hamamatsu. The superb tenor saxophone tones ring out in all the songs, including "Green Dolphin Street," which starts with a saxophone solo, Ellington's famous song "In a Sentimental Mood," the original song "Baby Sea Horse," and "If I'd Ever Leave You" from the musical "Camelot."
