I'd been playing acoustic guitar for a long time, so I wanted to go back to electric guitar, so I made this album.
Released in 1978, this was his fourth solo album after the breakup of his band "Shakti". It includes the song "Do You Hear the Voices That You Left Behind?", which is dedicated to John Coltrane.
Since he had been playing acoustic guitar throughout "Shakti," this was a work he produced because he wanted to return to playing electric guitar after a long time. Although sales were not so great, this work is highly regarded as a work that shows off the potential of fusion.
