A unique sound from the dawn of '90s techno, where humor and experimentation intersect
Following their debut album "FLASH PAPA," this is an important work that clearly sets out their own unique direction, combining techno with comedy elements, and set the course for their future activities.
Combining hard techno beats with comical sampling and narration, the album develops a sound world where seriousness and humor intertwine exquisitely. It strongly reflects the atmosphere of Japanese subculture in the early '90s, and captures the process by which Denki Groove grew from a mere "unique unit" to artists with a solid presence in the scene.
