This collection of Brahms and Schumann works includes "Variations on a Theme by Paganini," which Sviatoslav Richter (March 20, 1915 - August 1, 1997), known as the greatest pianist of the 20th century, said was the second most important piece of Brahms' work after Piano Concerto No. 2, and "Fantaisie," one of Schumann's favorite pieces to perform.
