Starview is a funk band from Chicago that is popular for their superb mellow groove "Body Fusion," which has been included in numerous rare groove compilations. This masterpiece modern soul album released in 1980 is being reissued on LP!
This is the only album released in 1980 by Starview, a major Chicago funk band, and the original version sells for high prices.
"Body Fusion" is of course a superb album, with a sophisticated sound that seems to be influenced by EW&F, sweet vocals and harmonies, and everything from speedy funk to disco/boogie to slow. It's a very high-quality funk/disco album, which is hard to imagine from the mysterious jacket design.
