Masayoshi Takanaka, 25, recorded his fourth album in Japan, LA, and Rio. Backed by studio musicians from LA and Brazil at the time, the album is characterized by a sophisticated, comfortable, and cool sound. The fan-favorite track "Disco B" is a gem of a track, blending Takanaka's eccentric guitar with J. Gadson's simple drumming. It goes without saying that this is a summer classic.
