Miles Davis Sextet's Dreams
"Someday My Prince Will Come" depicts the lyricism and adventurous spirit of jazz.
The title track, based on a Disney film theme song, features Miles's muted trumpet playing a dreamy melody. Featuring two tenor players, John Coltrane and Hank Mobley, the contrast of their musical styles adds depth to the piece. This 1999 remaster of the 1961 recording is a masterpiece that captures Miles's lyrical side.
