The album was a huge hit, reaching number one on both the UK Albums and Singles Charts.

This album was released on the back of the worldwide success of his debut album "Himself" and single "Alone Again (Naturally)". However, he wrote the songs for this album without any concrete ideas, just by being a genius, with melodies coming out while he was having fun and playing.
