Produced by Eiichi Ohtaki, with artwork by Andy Wehol, this is the first album by Rats & Star.
This is the first original album released after changing their name from The Chanels and is one of the city pop masterpieces. They produced it with Eiichi Ohtaki, who had been a friend of theirs since their amateur days.
The Chanels, formed by Masayuki Suzuki, Masashi Tashiro, and Nobuyoshi Kuwano, debuted in 1980 and changed their name to Rats & Star in 1983. This album includes songs that later became famous under the names of Takashi Matsumoto and Eiichi Ohtaki, such as "Hoshizora no Circus" and "T-shirt ni Kuchibutsu", as well as the representative ballad "MISS YOU" and "Onnatte..." featuring guest Yatsunoda Hiro.
