The fifth album by American heavy metal band Queensryche
This album, which was the band's highest charting album at the time, was a major departure from their previous album, with ballads and mid-tempo songs at the core, divisive, but the quality of the lyrics and other elements of the band's appeal do not diminish, making this a must-listen album.
Their challenging approach to sound has attracted controversy, but the totem pole on the cover certainly seems to be asking listeners to step into their "promised land."
