The title song, "Before the Generation of Love," is a song that conveys the message that "the true generation of love will not come unless nuclear weapons are eradicated." The single "Sadness is Like Snow" was also used as the theme song for the drama "In the Name of Love."
The jacket design is modeled after Jackson Browne's "Late For The Sky."
