This is the first compilation album to include all of Matsubara Miki's songs composed and arranged by Hayashi Tetsuji, including her debut song "Midnight Door ~stay with me," a city pop masterpiece.
This is a collection of works by Miki Matsubara and Tetsuji Hayashi, two of the originators of city pop, which has spread worldwide. The booklet includes liner notes written by music writer Toshikazu Kanazawa based on an interview with Tetsuji Hayashi himself.
The album contains a total of 15 tracks, including 13 original songs related to Hayashi Tetsuji, released from Matsubara Miki's debut with Pony Canyon in 1979 to her final album in 1988 after moving to Victor, as well as two tracks: a remix of "Mayonaka no Door ~stay with me" by Incognito and a re-edit by Night Tempo.
