This recording is the "Trenchtown Experience Live" recorded at a small black club in Chicago during the band's US tour in 1975, shortly after the release of their masterpiece "Natty Dread."This live recording is full of the dark energy of the rise of reggae, and is a little different from the ritualistic Rasta-proselytizing concerts that followed. Marley's vocals are full of magical charm.
