A psychedelic rock masterpiece
A 17-minute sonic epic created by Iron Butterfly.
This masterpiece of 60s psychedelic rock is known for the lengthy title track "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida." Doug Ingle's organ and Ron Basley's drum solo intertwine to create a trance-like acoustic space. The performance, which combines improvisation and construction, had a huge impact on the rock scene of the time, and this important work became a pioneer of progressive rock.
