This album marks the first surprise collaboration between OKAMOTO'S guitarist Kouki Okamoto and neo-AOR band GOOD BYE APRIL vocalist Sho Kurashina! This is a love song with a surf-rock sound. Okinawan rapper Leonald, whose concept is to fuse music and surf culture, makes his debut in the series! His new track, "Mother Ocean," is a satisfying slow tune filled with love for the ocean. Other first-time artists include Liquid Stella, a three-piece instrumental band with an average age of 22; Hanah Spring, a talented surf-style singer-songwriter; no.9, which also works on commercial music and sound design and production for public facilities; and a special remix by BLU-SWING, a jazz band featuring singer Yuri Tanaka. Artists active across various genres have come together around the theme of "ocean." Artist/surfer Shimon Hoshino, whose debut track on the previous album, "Sea Breeze," has surpassed 5 million plays on Spotify; neo-surf music singer UEBO, whose previous album, "Easy Breezy," was a huge hit; singer FUKI, who released an ocean-themed single and EP in 2024; and surf music legend Tomohiro Higashida, who travels the world and is a real surfer, also appear on this album with fantastic new tracks. Also appearing on this album are singer/surfer Lisa Halim, who is foreseeing new musical horizons after becoming a mother; beatmaker DJ Mitsu the Beats, whose 7-inch record for his previous album, "Summer Madness," sold out in just one day; viral top artist Tokimeki Records feat. Hikari, who is reviving city pop classics for the modern era; and jazz guitarist and real surfer Yosuke Konuma, who is also a real surfer, who is recording new covers.
