Hound Dog Taylor was a Chicago blues brawler whose name will forever be etched in the history of blues with his powerful slide guitar playing.

This masterpiece live album was released as an unreleased recording and caused a huge buzz at the time, and even here in Japan the CD sold over 10,000 copies. Now it has finally been released on analog for the first time on heavyweight vinyl with carefully selected tracks for LP!

Chicago rockin' bluesman Hound Dog Taylor, whose metallic slide guitar sounds are sure to overwhelm anyone who listens to him. His talent was so great that Bruce Iglore, who was at Delmark at the time, was so impressed that he started Alligator Records to make his name known to the world. His timeless charm continues to attract new fans even more than 45 years after his death. This album was released in 2004 and is mainly comprised of unreleased live recordings of Hound Dog Taylor & The Houserockers, and you can enjoy the explosive performance of the heavyweight trio of Brewer Phillips (Gt) and Ted Harvey (Dr). At the time, it was a hot topic due to its rarity, and the CD was a huge hit here in Japan as well. The first track, "Wild About You, Baby," starts off with a full throttle, suffocating, hot rockin' boogie storm. Once you listen to this, you'll definitely be captivated by the magic of Hound Dog's slides!
