This album is packed with the sound that was achieved after a long journey. The 9th album released in 1997. A culmination of the 90's technology sound that continued from "Achtung Baby" and "ZOOROPA". Contains 12 songs (13 on the Japanese version) including the pre-r Techno, break beats, trip hop, and other techno sounds make for a techno-inspired sound, but from the middle of the show onwards, the band also features some more subdued numbers. They also embarked on a world tour with this album. The gigantic set, which was said to be impossible to stage in Japan, was almost at the ceiling of the Tokyo Dome, but it went ahead without a hitch. The setlist was different for the Japan show, and the SE for the opening of the live show was "Mission Impossible". |
