April Blue is a band formed in 2019 by members active in the Tokyo indie scene, bridging the gap between J-POP and the indie scene. Their second album, "yura," is now available on vinyl!
This is April Blue's first album in five years, a band that has been expressing a catchy shoegaze-influenced sound in the style of a new J-POP band.
This album goes beyond April Blue's refreshing shoegaze image, incorporating a variety of international indie sounds like "Amarikaze," which blends dream pop and emo, and "Yoru Dake Shiteiru," April Blue's heaviest song to date, featuring guitarist Kai Murakami on vocals for the first time. It also includes new April Blue anthems like "Hiraite," which wouldn't be out of place in the heart of the J-rock scene, further amplifying April Blue's strength as a band. Following the huge success of their first solo concert, April Blue has now decided to release a vinyl record, a response to popular demand. This record features special tracks, with the members carefully selecting and ordering the songs, making it a unique experience that can be enjoyed in a completely different way than on CD or digital.
