Released in 1979, it reached number 3 on the Billboard pop chart and number 1 on the R&B chart.

Steve Lukather, Jeff Porcaro and other members of Toto were also employed in the sessions. The album includes the smash-hit disco song "Boogie Wonderland" and the classic ballad "After the Love Is Gone" (#2 in the US singles, Grammy Award winner).
