The final track on the new album "The Buffet", "Angle", has been released on 10-inch.
"MONO NO AWARE" is a next-generation rock band that shows the potential of Japanese rock. Their new album "The Buffet" released in June has been highly praised all over the place, and the release tour for the album has been sold out repeatedly. The last song on the album, "Angle", which features the genius lyrics of frontman Shuhei Tamaki, has been released on 10-inch. The B-side includes a remix of the song "Kamukamo Shikamonidomo Kamo!" written for NHK Minna no Uta by imai (group_inou)! The artwork is by photographer Shun Omiyama.
MONO NO AWARE: Shuhei Tamaki and Seijun Kato, both from Hachijojima, Tokyo, met Ayako Takeda and Yutaka Yanagisawa at university. As a result, while in the pop arena, they play a free sound that is not bound by genre or domestic or international boundaries, with a sound that hints at a diverse background, melody lines that defy expectations, and lyrics that are good at wordplay. From FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL'16 "ROOKIE A GO-GO", they appeared on the main stage by vote the following year. They have attracted attention as a next-generation band, appearing at numerous domestic festivals. In March 2017, they released their first album "Life, Mountains and Valleys" nationwide. In August 2018, they released their second album "AHA". In October 2019, they released their third album "Kakegaenai Mono", which includes the original song "Kamukamo Shikamonidomo Kamo!" for NHK Minna no Uta, and the theme song for "Sinking Family: The Movie", "A・I・A・O・U". In June 2021, they released their fourth album, "Gyoretsu no Dekiru Hakobune," which includes the theme song "Zoccon" for the animated film "Umibe no Etranze." In April 2022, they wrote the ending theme song "Ajimi," for the BS-TBS-aired new gourmet drama "Share Sura! Instant Ramen Arrangement Club Hajimemashita." In May 2023, they released a cover of "Oyoge! Taiyaki-kun," and in June of the same year, they released their first completely new song in about a year, "Kaze no Miga Kawatte." In 2024, they released their first new album in about three years, "The Buffet," and held a nationwide tour.
