A long-awaited reissue of the live recording that has been talked about as Friction's best performance!
A 10-inch reissue based on a CD produced using a newly discovered tape in 2005.
"79 Live" captures Friction's live performance at Takutaku in Kyoto in December 1979, four months before the release of their first album "Friction," a masterpiece that shines brightly in the history of Japanese punk. At the time, it was released as a privately-produced 10-inch LP in 1980, and only a very small number of enthusiasts were able to experience it. It also includes "Pistol" and "Kagayaki," which were not included on "Friction." This is one of the works that cannot be left out when talking about Friction. This legendary live performance, which Reck himself called a "miraculous performance," has been reissued on a 10-inch disc based on a CD produced in 2005 using a newly discovered tape.
