A 1981 album from the BETTER DAYS label by KAZUMI BAND, a group of purely Japanese musicians.
The album was produced by Mike Mainieri, who also produced the previous album, "TO CHI KA," but while the previous album was made with a gathering of top American musicians, this one features a gathering of first-class Japanese musicians and was produced in New York.
Led by the versatile guitarist Watanabe Kazumi, along with Shimizu Yasuaki (sax), Sasaji Masanori (keyboards), Takamizu Kenji (b), and Yamaki Hideo (drums), this is a masterpiece album that resounds with a distorted sound that blends together comfortable jazz, rock, and progressive rock.
