"Melo" by Menkage Lucky Hole, known as an extremely rare and hard-to-find record, is now available on LP for the first time!
Released in November 1996, the legendary indie CD album "Melo" was reviewed in the Asahi Shimbun record review at the time as "Is it a serious social criticism? Or a grand joke?", and has been released on vinyl for the first time in time for Record Day 2024 on Sunday, November 3, 2024! Includes the original version of "My father-in-law who was so against it poured me beer," which was highly praised by Takaaki Yoshimoto, Yoshio Hayakawa, and others, as well as 8 other songs (plus 1 secret bonus track based on the original CD). The cover art of the late Takashi Ishii is revived in record size! ●Bonus for LP purchasers (pre-order priority, first-come-first-served bonus) We have unearthed a live recording from a performance held at Shimokitazawa CLUB251 on September 1, 1996, just before the release of "Melo." It will be included on a CD and given as a special non-sale bonus.
