A reinterpretation of Disney songs by a stellar cast of artists.
This compilation features new recordings of classic Disney songs by a variety of artists, spanning genres including pop, jazz, and folk.
A diverse range of musicians, including James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, and Suzanne Vega, have participated in the project, recreating classic Disney songs in their own unique styles. The arrangements are generally simple, respecting the original melodies while reflecting each musician's individual musicality. The wide range of styles, from folk to jazz ballads, creates a gentle sound that is pleasing to the listener. The recording is clear, and the vocal texture is carefully reproduced. This album transcends the boundaries of film music, blending universal melodies and expressiveness. A masterpiece in which the individuality of the artists and the universality of the songs coexist.
