Americana from the Band's central figure
A story-rich sound world imbued with the atmosphere of New Orleans.
The title "Storyville" refers to the entertainment district of New Orleans and pays homage to the musical culture of the American South. The songs, which weave together elements of blues, gospel, and R&B, demonstrate Robertson's exceptional songwriting ability. This is a fulfilling album that draws on his experience with The Band while pursuing his own unique musical vision.
