Stanley Clarke is a bassist who also plays drums and synthesizers, and is also a producer and composer. This is his best contemporary album from 1984.
The album was produced with the help of his close friends Jeff Beck and George Duke, and "Are You Ready" features Howard Hewitt (Shalamar) on lead vocals.
