Experimental fusion of jazz and funk
The avant-garde sound created by Cosmetics and Jamaladeen Takuma.
Bassist Takuma's unique playing drives the entire album. He combines the improvisational qualities of jazz with the groove of funk to pursue music that transcends existing frameworks. This is one of the groundbreaking attempts made during the M-BASE movement in 1985.
