Although it was a famous movie insert song, the band disbanded shortly after its release.Re-released in 1968 (the 1966 version was the first Japanese release; the original US release was in 1965) the B-side was replaced with "Mrs. Robinson", which was a hit in the US at the time. The B-side of the original 1965 release was "We've Got a Groovy Thing Goin'," but with the release of the film "The Graduate" and the inclusion of "Sound Of Silence" on the soundtrack, the Japanese version was released with a different B-side. |
