A 25h single released in 1965. Following its huge success, Shochiku produced a music film of the same name based on this song. The B-side, "Imouto Yo," was a song created for the NHK program "Kyou no Uta."
Composer Hirooki Ogawa noticed the strong similarity between this song and "Moonlight Legend," the theme song for "Sailor Moon," and, through the mediation of JASRAC, a settlement was reached by distributing a portion of the copyright royalties to Ogawa.
