This is one of a series of works that features traditional folk songs from all over Japan sung by Michiya Mihashi's lustrous and powerful voice.

This album is a high-level fusion of her solid skills as a folk singer and her expressiveness as a star singer.

Mitsuhashi's vocals are characterized by her clear high notes and unique fist movements. She sings with emotion and dignity, expressing the feelings of labor, festivals, and hometowns that are embedded in simple folk songs. The accompaniment is centered around Japanese instruments such as the shamisen and shakuhachi, and the arrangement, which values traditional elegance, deepens the flavor of the songs.
